Language exams not only enable you to provide evidence of
your abilities, but also present a useful goal for you to achieve
during your stay, providing an incitement to learn.
On the following pages, you will find most of the major French language exams open to foreign students. Once you have decided on the type of exam that
is best suited to your requirements (i.e. on your level of French, amount of time you will study for the exam, any preferences made by your employers/ educational
establishment) you should check to see:
a) if your language school offers preparation for the exams
b) when and where you will be able to sit the exam.
Most schools would also be able to offer you help and
guidance if you are unsure.
